You awaken on the unforgiving asphalt with a profound void in your mind. No memory of your past. No recollection of your name. The city around you is unnervingly silent, populated only by faceless, shadowy entities that wander the streets like broken automatons.
Your sole connection to the truth is a single, crumpled photograph bearing an unknown address. The path you carve from here is entirely your own, but be warned: this city does not forgive the careless.
Step into the dark. Seek the truth. And remember to check your shadows.

Install instructions
To ensure a flawless execution of the software, please follow these steps precisely:
- Download the
Failed_Hope_Final_Windows.ziparchive attached to this page. - Extract the entire archive into a dedicated folder on your machine. Warning: Do not attempt to run the game while it is still compressed inside the ZIP, as it will fail to load its audio and visual assets.
- Execute the application by double-clicking the
Failed Hope.exefile located inside the newly extracted directory.
Controls & System
- Interaction: Use your Left Mouse Button to advance the dialogue and select your narrative choices.
- Pause Menu: Press P or ESC at any time to pause the narrative and the soundtrack.
- Audio Mixing: While playing, utilize the UP and DOWN arrow keys to dynamically adjust the master volume to your preference.
